What Kids Really Want That Money Can't Buy
Presented by Betsy, Taylor, MPA, President and Co-Founder of the Center for the New American Dream, author of "What Kids Really Want That Money Can't Buy", Tuesday, April 25, 2006, 7-8:30 pm

Raising kids in today's consumer culture is challenging. Our children live in a virtual storm of television commercials, banner ads, billboards, logos, and product placements. Join Betsy Taylor and gain tips for parenting in a commercial culture. She will provide advice on how to help your child analyze advertising and resist its influence. Together, we will explore how parents can slow down, reclaim the things in life that matter most, and help children reconnect with the non-material sources of fulfillment.
